Decided to go for the new hand on this guy. Still in progress, need to finish off the tips and folds in the knuckles.
grabbers are done. added some girth and a bit of detail.
put some pores on the head. ok, for real this time. done with the high poly.
lookin good
a real badass!!
was jst wondering… are the hands a separate subtool?
is it easier to detail hands that way?
im just curious how ppl break down their models for detailing if it ultimately needs to be part of one mesh in another 3d application
fantastic work. Did you do all in Zbrush?
thanks guys:D
zindrome, yes, the hand is a subtool. originally it was a seperate ztool file and then i appended it to the the main file, which consists of multiple subtools composing the whole. i don’t think i could wield this thing in a standard 3d app on my machine or as one ztool in zbrush.
Mr Vinck. i started with a base mesh for most of the model, ended up using extract to create the jacket. other pieces like shoes, belt, buttons, pockets, were imported after being created in 3d studio max.
i have a question for anyone knowledgeable on the subject. how do i get smooth anti-aliased renders? i turned up all the settings and used best render but am still getting jaggies on the edges…?
posted some higher rez images to my site. 3 pages of renders, scroll for all images on the first 2. let me know what you guys think.
