mirror and weld along negative x axis

Hallo,

is their a way to mirror and weld along the -x axis?
I’ve started a model without having symmetry active.
Both side look quite different I’ve choose the right side to mirror but it takes the left side everytime. I’ve also tried it with smart resym but it didn’t make the job well in my case, is their a trick to make smart resym work better.

When using Smart ReSym, please do the following:

  1. Mask the good half of the model.
  2. Do Smart ReSym at subdivision level 1. Then go to 2 and do it again. Continue repeating for each higher level.
