Mirror a object with multi-sud-d levels?

How do you mirror an object if it has multi sub-d levels. Basically I have a model of a guy and added a subtool of a boot I made from a different model that I want to use on the new one… I added it in and touched it up to make it look a bit different… now I can not seam to flip it to position it on the other foot.

I tried mirror-x but the app says that it dose not work with multi sud-ds.

I think the best thing to do in this case is to use the SubTool Master -> Mirror.
I believe you can also go to the highest SubDiv level and click on Delete Lower in the Geometry Palette.
Then you can use the Mirror function in the Deformation Palette.
All you need to do to get your SubDiv levels back is to click on the Reconstruct SubDiv button in the Geometry Palette.
But I`d use the SubTool Master. :slight_smile:
