tyrellcorp > This character was not retopologized because i don’t wanted to take him to low poly stage, I just wanted to get the high poly sculpting stage as far as can. Regarding the theme, I wanted to create a mechanical version of the mythological Minotaur, I did not inspired from somewhere, I let my imagination free with this theme kept in mind.
Please excuse me for my english, I would like to respond in more detail but is hard to find the right words to comunicate easy.

sadicus > For the texture part I rendered in zbrush more images of this model with different material that i combined later in photoshop using masks.
The drawings and the writing I applied to the final model using different blend modes.

I’ve seen too many mechs and heavy armor dudes and am slightly sick of it, but this one is simply beautiful. it has a real nice twist with it’s almost antique look. congrats!
