My free time study work…
In Greek myth, the Minotaur was a monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man who was imprisoned in a dark underground labyrinth at Knossos on the Aegean island of Crete. The Labyrinth was an ingenious maze commissioned by King Minos and designed by the architect Daedalus. In traditional Greek mythology, when King Minos of Crete failed to sacrifice a bull to Poseidon, the god caused his wife to lust after the animal. By it, she conceived the Minotaur, a monster with a bull’s head and a man’s body, which was confined in a labyrinth. The Minotaur was not born evil, according to Greek mythology. He lived on human flesh, but that doesn’t mean he was evil by nature. Even though his mother raised him with a lot of care, he became a threat to society as he got older. The Athenian Prince Theseus was the hero who slayed the Minotaur. Theseus was the brave, strong and fearless son of King Aegeus, and he was born and raised in the city of Athens.
