Mike Nash - Hard Surface Bust W.I.P

Wonderful, love that you made it carbon fibre

Awesome!, could you post an Xplode view of the subtools?

This is really great work. Its amazing how you go from pretty ā€œjitteryā€ shapes to really tight hardsurface modelling. Inspiring work!
would love to se more of the working process. :+1: :+1:

This is sick. Well done!

[QUOTE=teddy007kong]sick design and xsi integration, would love to see some renders.
any tips or tuts on how to get these hard surface features in zbrush?

newbie question , what is xsi ?

I think this piece might end up on the cover of a 3d world magazine or something of that nature. It’s incredible none the less

good stuff! Possible wireframe maybe? :+1:

Great!!!

looks amazing, do you quick retopo-in zbrush and then retouch it in xsi or do you retopo straight in xsi?

Thanks all guys

1 soul - I’ll post wireframe later.

gloomingshade - All the concepting is done it zbrush and then xsi to build the parts.

jaystein777 - Not sure if i can since im using xsi

tomaszlanski - xsi is softimage

Really great design. I mean the model is great, and renders are great too, but the design is soooooo nice. Watching with anticipation.

That is awesome, Mike; we see so many hard surface pieces now, that it’s diificult to sort the swiss watches from the ikea kitchen taps, but this is a monster amongst pigeons ( how’d I swap metaphors there?

Awesome… I want one, more than any predator or termintor head!
Top Row for me already, but i have the feeling it’s about to get even better
