As the title says. My buttons turns black and unclickable after a restart. Wondering what I’m doing wrong here

This is my understanding of your issue:
You have the Micropoly selector window assigned to a slot in a custom interface, but does not work after a program restart. The normal selector window located in the Dynamic Subdivision menu still works though. Is this correct?
Quick testing into this indicates its an issue with trying to relocate the Selector window to the interface. I was not able to make this work successfully either so that it persisted after a relaunch. You can report this to Pixologic Support if you’d like it to receive technical attention.
