Michelangelo's David

Here is my rendition of one of my favorite statues. I really wanted to work on something not in a T-pose and avoid symmetry to work on gesture, form, and tension of the muscles. I used 3ds Max, Photoshop for a couple textures, and Zbrush for the statue. Thanks for comments and crits.David.jpg

GREAT work!! and great attention to the anatomy. I love the knees. Keep on rocking! Best regards, Selwy

I know it supposed to be ‘counterpoise’ but I think that his left knee is a little bit to low. Also, I think you should work more on his face. I’m no expert and it is obviously that you know a lot more about 3D than me but it is my friendly advice to check those two. Anyway, great work.

Cheers,
Marko
