the hand poses look incredibly similar to Michaelangelo’s work from a slightly different angle.

Either way, great work. Did you use that as reference or inspiration?

That’s it, you found my reference pic :laughing:small_orange_diamond:laughing:

The book is about digital arts, and they politeley asked to create some illustrations for the book : )

Here is the Chapter 1 cover

The great works leave a lasting impression  Congrats on the illustration job.

The hands were made using the bingo_jackson method, it´s great in the adaptive skin creation…

Moni: Good to see you around here… it’s been so long : )

Moonlitmaverick: Hope you like the views

Aberrant: Well… it´s not a job… I wont get paid for doing that

A little update of E.T’s little cousin… I’m gonna call him “Rigel, The star collector” Just added some armour and tentacle-rings

Un avance del enanito verde… lo llamaré “Rigel, el coleccionista de estrellas” Solo le puse un poco de armadura y unas arracadas

[MarsZbrush.jpg]

Retopo ahead… it lacks soo much detail i’d ike to give him : (

Hi ISK! I like the finished pic - and it’s title! Has a dreamlike quality to it that makes one think about the story behind it :+1: .

Awesome idea! I´m with Etcher – the title is great. Sounds magical. Beautiful work!

:o

Moni, Etcher, Thanks… had too little time for myself… hope I can zbrush more often

In spanish it soudns a little more… poetic…

Well this is my first 100% assymetric zbrush model… looks pretty decent, (that modeling clay look)

Clay copy.jpg

I´ll try to do a “3d Integration” with this model… using some hdri… as soon as I get a camera

Hi ISK! Great render you got there! lookin’ forward to the updates on this one! :+1: !

Frostbite II

A lone figure walks trough a lone hallway. The former priest of the great city of stone: Kouri, the new Nucleus Bearer… In this dark hallway, he founds the remanents of an ancient civilization, worshippers of the nucleus’ sons.

Estatua de Legion, rey de los hijos malnacidos.

Legion’s Statue, king of the nucleus’ sons.

[Final.jpg]

nice render!!

Hi ISK-86! Those are cool renders! Look like actual photographs. Mind sharing some WIP-Shots? :+1: !

Well, it’s really simple… My render passes are just 2, for this kind of render:

1.- Main figure/character [![02 - Main.jpg|640x480](upload://hDOCWQnvYS4vfxwgvzp3eeWirQv.jpeg)]![Setup.jpg|784x562](upload://7DeqLKSOqRqNAWEMSGDbrHR133b.jpeg) The render setup is only an area llight...

the model is about 20k poly, so it wont’ need an aproximator editor for the displacement map…

To render I use Final gathering…

I think that it’s just a little information about what I do when I render, but this is the “main” workflow
