Nothing more to say…Metropolis_SM.jpg

…and I say: cool :+1:

i cant close the mouth…

:+1:Very very nice, would love to know how you created all of this, do you perhaps have a zscript of it

Superb… Is there any tutorial on how to do such stuffs, like you do and meats meiers do?

You have really done a great modeling work ! It is so good that it seams to be real…
The last thing which should be great is if you could make an animation…

Well ! It’s excellent anyway !
Congratulations !

Thanks I appreciate all of the sentiment… Basically this is all concept art that is basically what I call it… It would be great to zoom around all of this stuff someday… What thing that is hard to get a handle of is the perspective in Zbrush as well as having infinite space. This is all created in Zbrush without any help from outside model programs.

Here is the skinny on the whole thing… I usually start out by making textures in photoshop black and white 256x256.

In Zbrush, I start out by making primitives in many different shapes using masking and whatever to deform it.

To Punch Holes, Tool> Make Polymesh of some of your objects you just made> switch to Polymesh you just made> Take a texture you just made in photoshop> Mask Panel> Int> Hide Pt> Geometry Panel> Delete Hidden> Morph Target(If there is a morph target there Delete it)> Store MT> Deformation about 3 is what I use because you can always add some later if you want… It looks funky if you try to reduce.
Morph Target> Create Diff… You should have a tool in your … Then when you are all set, make sure you just use the Gyro to move around and shape…

I hope that gives some idea. Have fun best of all…

Amazing work and so much details
:+1:

wow !! this is great !!
the detail is extreme as the sense of space …
congrats for the deserved top row !
:sunglasses: :+1:

great, complex piece, could stare at it for an hour…congrats on the toprow. one thing if you dont mind me saying, i find the contrast a bit low, making the overall feeling a bit flat. i personally like it with +17 contrast in photoshop…i hope you don’t mind if i did a test!

:+1:

It makes me homesick for New York…Wonderful piece, very cool detailing…My only crit is that is does seem a wee bit “Flat”. If you add fog to the background that obscures the farthest details a bit that would help the depth. Other than that nitpick it’s an amazing piece, Bro…

Dickie

Vivien and Dickie, no problem and thanks for the crit… You are right it is abit flat now that I look at it. Thanks for your comments I appreciate it… Sometimes the lighting is hard to get right in Zbrush…

…some colors in the texture ?
Cool city lanscape :+1:

PS:AAAAnnnnnnnndddddddddd TOP ROWWWWWWWW

first words that shot into my head were: HOLLY CRAP! :+1:

How long did that take you? It’s awesome BTW.

neat stuff.
love those alpha mask’s

Really cool city but I’d hate to be the postman in there

Aha!

See what happens when ya keep the faith?

Cool stuff, keep experimenting! Fog like Dickie mentioned and utilizing Depth Cue in renders will help…and yeah lighting can be a b****! but challenges are good!

Keep it up!!

Masterpiece.
