Mesh reconstruct destroys uvs

Hey all,
Just wondering if its possible to get around this, but prob wont be.

I did set of uvs on my model at level 3 in external application then re-imported my model and then did reconstruct to level 1.
The problem is that all my edges of my uv’s are welding to one another when i did my mesh reconstruct.

Is there anyway to stop this ?

Don’t step down to level 1. If your UV’s are made at “subD3” Zbrush doesn’t know what your UV’s are supposed to look like at level 1.

Make your UV’s at the lowest subD. If you want to use lvl 3 for the final UV’s then simply import your UV’s at lvl3 and then delete the lower subD levels when you’re done sculpting. If all you’re doing is color information then you don’t really need low subD levels anymore.
