Hey guys,
I could use a little help. I’m trying to sculpt a bust of the legend that is… Bill Murray, I’m a bit new to this sculpting stuff so I made a bit of a mistake. I made a base mesh first and forgot to UV unwrap it before I sculpted, which is no real biggie. I set the subdiv to 1 and exported the .obj back to 3ds max, made my unwrap and went to import the base mesh back into ZBrush 4. Everything seemed ok until I was finished and realized that by importing the new basemesh, it had somehow screwed up the geometry and I ended up with these unusual looking spikes showing up everywhere… looking like his face was getting impaled. Not good…
Any ideas on how I can fix this? I’ve double and tripple checked, the base mesh has no stray vertex points and the mesh its 100% quad.
