Mesh extraction help

I have been working with ZBrush for a little while now but only just began mesh extracting. I am attempting to making a robotical suit solely with mesh extraction. However, whenever I create a piece of the armor, it turns out looking… like this:

There are little spiky polys all around the rims! Even if I put my model at the highest geometry, those little mountains stay!

Is there an easy way to fix this?

You’re on a Mac, aren’t you? You need to update to version 3.2.
