Mesh extract not working after update

Since updating to 4r3, the extract function has not worked for me. I mask an area and preform the extract - a mesh shows up like normal (though there is nothing added to the subtool list) but as soon as I touch the canvas after doing that, it disappears.

Has the way this works changed or is there some new step? Thanks in advance for your time in answering.

Click the ‘Accept’ button beside the “Extract” button to make it a subtool.

Ooooh that’s sneaky. I didn’t see that button there. I had it out on my custom UI (and since this was added naturally it wasn’t there). I tried it right in the default location as well but never noticed the accept button.
