Hey guys, I am having a very peculiar problem. I have been working on a Zbrush sculpt of an elephant and have gotten it to level 7 (arond 4 mill) and wanted to export my maps so I went down in levels, however; once I got below level 3, my mesh explodes. If I export an .obj at level 3 where it is still intact and import into Maya, the mesh imports as the elephant mesh, but in lots of random groups of pieces and upside down. I figured maybe this wasn’t too big of a deal so I combined and merge verts and reimported into zbrush as if I were replacing UV’s and it seemed to work, but when I go up or down in subdivs my mesh explodes again. Any ideas? I have about 15 saved iterations and apparently they all of have this problem up till one of the beginning saved iterations, which doesn’t do me too much good. Guess one should always check all levels every once in a while instead of getting caught on the higher ones :P.
