Merging Subtools?

Hi Everyone,

I am R&D a pipeline for fullbody mocap. I am currently trying to use o a head with teeth and toungh as my facial setup for blendshaped (instead of using a jaw-bone in the skeleton in Maya). I had a finished subtool for the head and a subtool for the teeth and one for the toungh. I tried merging them together but the results are wierd, like brooken surfaces and I can’t unwrap it (Zbrush says Error).

Im quite new to Zbrush and is seems to me that sometimes it can do “magic”, so thats whay I had to try this to see if it worked. But maybe I am stretching its capabilities? This is 3 seperete meshes (head, teeth and tough), can they be worked in Zbrush like ONE subtool that I can do blendshapes? If so how should the subtool be buildt?
