Merging different pieces

I model a character’s body in different pieces. So in one mesh it’s the face
in another the arms, and in a third one the chest.
What’s the best way to remake it into one mesh?

The right way is to make a retopology of the model, then reproject the details from the hi poly to the new mesh.
Actually, this is the only way to do it :slight_smile:

Thanks a lot pimeto. I thougth so. Is it possible to make a new mesh with very low count building it from the lowest subdiv of both meshes and reproject to that? (I hate the retopologization tools within ZB).

Well it depends on what your modeling is and how your mesh is stretched or something, but the low poly is deformed too, so no problem i think. Try it and see.
Topology tools in ZB is terrible, yes. Try Topogun or other retopo soft.
