Merge visible Vs. dynamesh

What’s the difference between simply merging items on subtool and dynameshing items so they are a continues mesh. Can you still 3D print the only merged object without any problems? It is a lot easier to just merge and the merging lines are clean. How does that affect the final printed product? anyone?

Thanks

You are answering your own question. The difference is that a dynamesh is one mesh, which a merged mesh is just floating.

You can print either, though some printers won’t accept non-continuous meshes.
IMO you’re better off creating the same mesh that the printer is going to be printing (a single continuous mesh) so you can see and fix any errors before printing, rather than trying to guess how the printer is going to interpret those 2 meshes jammed together.
