Merge and weld without losing subdivision levels?

That’s the highest subd level. The top part is the head, bottom is the neck. They almost match up perfectly but you can see a small line where they don’t. What’s the best approach to merging and welding? The meshes have the same number of subd levels. I think I had done this before but forgot.

You’re probably better off duplicating your meshes.
Merge the duplicates, delete all lower subD levels. Use the pinch brush to pull those points together. Export and import again making sure weld is turned on in your import options.
SubD up the mesh again and project your details back on.

Tried but couldn’t get it to weld correctly. I did it with Blender. Exported the edge loops closest to the seam at highest subd, joined the seam in blender, imported that back to zbrush and welded it with the rest. Worked well.

Thanks!
