michalis thank you, and yes Vermeer is one of my inspirations I’m glad it comes through in the piece.
As for the chiton she is wearing I use 3d Max’s cloth modifier for that .
it makes the process more like a costume designer than a sculptor the focus is all on where it is pinned
and how it drapes .
I really need to practice my drape sculpting . cloth modifiers don’t tend to produce the complicated folds
of most classical pieces .

as for the knife , I’m saving the blade for when I do Judith :D

Wow nice model, theme and rendering! Also nice living location. We used to go to Myrtle Beach a lot when I was a kid. Murrells Inlet is a beautiful place.
