That’s the question. Some have stars, some dots, some white & some orange and some one and some several. What does it mean??
Each Dot represents 100 posts. After 500 posts the dots turn orange. Every 1000 posts is represented by a red star.

Ah, I was wondering about that myself… (said he, adding 1/100th of a dot to his name…)
Note that they display really funkily if you don’t have your browser set to default to a Western encoding. My browser is set to default to a Japanese encoding if the page neglects to specify one, and until I change it manually, I get wacky little kanji under people’s names. (Which is odd, as the forum uses an explicit page encoding so it should override my default settings in OmniWeb… life is full of mysteries…)
