maya uv explodes

i am having a problem with importing uvs in from maya…i have a detailed polypainted mesh,export lowest sub d level,store mt,layout uvs in maya, export back into zb and it explodes…please help…i have zb 3.1

Odds are very good that your import settings in Maya changed the point order. Make sure that “Create Multiple Objects” (I think that’s what is called) is turned off. You may also need to turn on a setting to conserve point order.
