Maya to Zbrush scale problem

Hi folks!

I’ve exported a mesh from Zbruh to Maya, worked on it and exported back to Zbrush and the mesh was a lot smaller than before…
I know I’ve fallen on a thread solving this problem before but after several search on google and in this forum I haven’t found anything on this anymore!
Thanks for your replies!

Cheers!

I don’t use Maya, but check your OBJ export dialogue in Maya for scaling options. You may need to check or uncheck a box, or set a scale value to 1.0 or something.

Well I don’t think there is a scaling option in the obj export dialogue in maya…
But I’ve found a not-so-satisfactory solution :

Let me explain…It’s a multi-subtooled character and I want to retopologize one of the subtool (a coat) in maya and bring it back in zb.
As you know when I import the retopologized coat in ZB it becomes smaller than the “source coat”. I select the source coat, hit deform>unify. Doing this the retopologized coat and the source coat have the same size but are smaller than the rest of the subtools…Afer that I have to scale it manualy to give the same size than the rest…and well…it’s not a very clean workflow…

Hope you’ve understood my messy explanations…

I tried a search for “retopology +scale” and this was one of the results: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=48689 Is it possibly what you were looking for?

Well…It seems so…sorry for being an ass…
