hey guyz! i sculpted this model in zbrush and wanted to render it in maya?
im doin a tutorial i purchased from gnomon 'scott spencers displacement map tut)
i import the obj and do all the necessary stuff exactly as scott asks and come up with this stupid lookin bubble head thingy!!! why is this?
please i know this is a zb thread but sum1 must b able to help?

by the way i export the obj at 23.260 polys which is as scott did so too!

I hav´nt seen that tut, but it seems that you are using a wrong displacement value… when you use high displacement values. your mesh becomes that bubbly thing :lol:
Your model might not be the same size as scott spencer, so, the displacement values that he used for his model might not work for yours
