max 2008 displace

maybe there’s been a lot of similar treads but I not fount them. I’ve this problem with displacement and normal maps, I use Zbrush3.1 and multidisplacement3 with settings for Max.AUVTiles

When you calculated the AUVTiles mapping, was a texture applied to the model or not? What is the size of the displacement map that you exported?

Did you restore the base mesh prior to calculating the map?

Do you have any texture filtering turned on in Max?

no textures on the model.

“restore the base mesh” : do you mean go to subdivision level 0 ? yes I did
in max I changed the blur value of the bitmap to 0.001. I read this in some other post.the bitmap filtering is Pyramidal, but even set to None is much worse

dude, just wait for Zbrush 3.5…guess they’ll fix it… there is no solution for displace seams :frowning:
