Max 09 UV back to Zbrush 3.1

Hello. I’m having a hell of a time trying to define uvs layouts from 3dsmax09 back to Zbrush 3.1. The mesh keeps exploding. Any advice?

Something is changing the point order of the model. Probably in the import or export settings in Max.

If I export out the second division instead of the first it seems to work.

everyone seems to have it’s own grandma’s recipe
so maybe mine will work for you.(I use max 9 and Zb3.1)

1-export from level 1 with default settings

2-import .obj with max standard .obj importer

3-convert to editable poly

4-do your uvs with uvw unwrap

5-export with Uv Unwrap still in the stack
DO NOT COLLAPSE
(I know everyone told me to collapse but since I’ve stopped doing it I didn’t have any exploding mesh problems)

Thanx for the tip but just tryed it with no luck :cry: Im using Max 2009 any other tips :question: I have noticed that Max 09 comes with a new importer export. Its the gw:small_orange_diamond:OBJ-Importer exporter.
