That’s cool looking creature!

Awesome Design dude!!!

Hi everyone, haven’t had time to finish this model yet, but thought I would show my appreciation for all your comments.

Evan Gaugh - Thanks Man! I’m tryin… been too busy to get back to my personal stuff, but I did play with Fiber Mesh for a little bit with this recent creature… I can’t wait to get
back to it.

asecbrush - Thank you, appreciate it.

SolidSnakexxx - Thanks, glad you like it.

onurbz - Thanks a lot! This was an old sculpt I started and never finished. It was an early ZSphere model… So I wanted to bring it into the light of day. Planning to give him some fiber mesh… stay tuned, haha…

Very inspiring creatures, with a solid and smooth anatomy ! Really Great job !Totally love some design of yours, which is one of the most imporant things. My oppinion is that design is the most imporant thing,
to be an unique artist out there and you got a style going on!

Looking forward seeing more from you,

Cheers mate,
Kenny

KC-Production - Thank you Kenny!! I appreciate that you like some of my designs. I agree, creating unique and compelling designs is crucial. It can be difficult to discover those novel ideas when surrounded by so much talent here on the web and within the scope of the film industry veterans. That brings up a good point for this new post. You can now see how long I spend pushing the form around until I find something that catches my eye, then I usually spend the rest of the time pulling on that spark of inspiration. (In the Speed Sculpt Demo, at about 1:38, I found the form and expression in the face that initiated the rest of the design. In real time, that may have taken 30min’s to an hour, but it’s what I look for as I start out, because after that pivotal moment, there’s no more searching, only balancing the composition of the form, anatomy, character/emotion, and some fun time noodling details

I realized I never posted a speed sculpt I made for the image I called “The Wretched.” So here it is. It’s really bashed together and edited quickly, but it does convey a good idea of some of my process. This model
was created for fun, without much direction to what it would turn out to be other than something I can produce rapidly, so that is why the form fluxuates so much in the design process.

You are more than welcome maury! You are so right, it is one of the hardest things to create your style, there are so many inspirations out thereMy personal oppinion, for me as hopefully a character/creature artist in the cg industry the most important thing is to create an amazing style and a one in a life time design and anatomy are so important!Totally love your new sculpt and design, he is definently a great one!Great design and nice polypaint as well!Thank you for sharing a short movie on ur speedsculpt, watched and liked it a lot!Looking forward seeing more from you Maury!Best regards mate :-)Kenny

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been too busy to get back to adding some Fibermesh hair/fur to the recent WIP, but I came across an old sculpt I wanted to share in this thread. This was pre-Zspheres sculpt, I believe…

BAD. ARSE!

I’m really digging the concept! Much better than the traditional dragon and something completely new.
I really hope you do a set of these, I’d love to see more

very sleek design, love it.

Beautiful in every way - original, great sculpt, awesome render, and sweet composition.

Top row now! :+1: Amazing work really inspiring ! Fantastic sketchbook really mindblowing artwork here!

Looking forwad seeing more from you,

Happy sculpting
Kenny:)

I like the Aquatic Creature, is somehow original, looking forward to see how much you anticipated the new Avatar 2 creature stiles .
It deserves more texture love and a better presentation. It’s one of your best designs I think.
Keep up the coolness !

NICE! Nothing more to say than that…except WOW maybe. Fine work, mate!

TheTurner - It’s great to hear you like this creature! I made it a while ago, but this is the kind of stuff I really gravitate toward, so I think I just might flesh some more out in this direction. Thanks
for the suggestion.

Kenny - Thanks man! I gotta keep pushing on with the sculpts! I appreciate the support!

SpiritDreamer - Thank you! I definitely tried pushing the flowy rhythm of the forms.

SammehSAMURAI - Glad you like it! Thanks!

KC-Production - You are very kind, Thank you!

OvidiusTiberius - I appreciate the comments! I agree completely! This was one of my earliest sculpts in ZBrush, before zspheres, and way before I got the hang of adding textures. It’s a bit too glossy, but there is a design there. I am really thinking I should revisit this sculpt, now with BPR Filters and Dynamesh… Since it’s getting so much feedback, it would be a great opportunity to bring more life into it with a proper pose and environment… possible some retop to open the mouth, but I’ll have to see how much time I can afford it. Either way, thank you for taking the time to comment. (Avatar 2?!! I can’t wait!!)

carver - Thanks you sir!

I Just wanna say THANKS EVERYONE for the comments!!! It means a lot to get some feed back from this sculpting community… I’ll be posting shortly!!

Hi ZBrush Community!!

Well, I haven’t had time to get back to the recent Mountain Goblin WIP, which is in need of some Fibermesh attention, but only because I thought I would push into my hard surface stuff for a minute…
at least while I have some spare time again. So this is a Robot WIP… Much to be added; eyes, limbs, details, etc… I’m having a lot of fun so far and plan to flush out the rest of the figure with an emphasis on clean and less detailed surfaces to balance what I have made so far.

CC Will be appreciated, as this is yet to be finished.

Thanks for taking a look!
