Very cool! I really like your stuff.looking forward to more.
Your character is so real and you might instantly invent an entire novel to do so.
Made technically brillant.
I love it, when a story behind it.

Elegant clean work using fibermesh…you have divided them in polygroups ? Which brush in particular you have used? Amazing Matt !
Hey LVX, thanks, yes, I usually do 2 polygroups along the part, then I divide those halves into 3 or more polygroups.
This one in particular was totally standard process and fibermesh settings, but often I just use the move brush, with Mask by Polygroup.
The GroomBrushes are set to Intensity 20, and I switch between those. Long hair takes patience, but there was no secret with this one, I swear, just a lot of practice The Aniso was -10/50, which seems to give nice results in my renders.
Man, you really have fibermesh figured out. inspiring.
Very nice work/render
very cool I love how u make hair!
Many thanks guys! Gonna try that fibermesh thing a little more now, I think
Great, really clean looking sculpt and render.
love the female bust, do u render it in zbrush, and how did u do the eyes (transparent)
stubobpot: Thank you
marrakech: Yeah, 1 pass render in ZBrush, only signature added in PS.
But it’s a super complicated setup with a 4 channel material (Diffuse x2, Spec, SSS), lights and tons of BPR-Filters.
I have to write about it, so I can’t spoil it here, but for the eyes:
make a second sphere over your eye-balls, thats slightly bigger, and make it transparent in this subtools display properties. Transparent must be turned on in Render Props.
Assign a Mat with a reflection texture to it ( those by ZBro are great), then you have to tweak the mat settings, and render it till it looks good ( really depends on your other settings). There are good tutorials about eyes on this forum, by maxter for example!
Love your work mate!
Hi Matt, just a lovely sculpt and render … The hair kicks a**!
Cheers, David
Another two sculpts another blast. Great work on both and especially on girl’s hair - you’ve made a progress for sure.
A Silent Philosopher is another great example of your style and skill, fold on cloth and body are great!
One thing about portrait, I think the teeth, medial incisor especially, should be a lil bit wider.
Right now they are slight, like childish teeth.
chalkman - thanks a lot, always good to hear from you
nebular - thanks so much for the kind words, and your point on the teeth is a very good one, good eyes mate!
This scale felt right at the time, but I should have tried to make them wider and at least looked how that worked. They are definitly on the small side now! Next time!
Btw, I have to take a break from posting sculpts, like 2 months, because I have only time for doodles besides some ongoing reconstructions (which are NDA). Always checking on you guys stuff though!
