Sen_God - Thank you man, just checked out your work, especially love the dying gaul and hope you finish him!
Nebular - Thanks buddy, the back and legs were the most interesting areas to me. I totally hear you on the biceps, still sometimes I feel a little inconsistency interesting too in experiments… Your girl is coming along nicely!
Dante - Thanks so much, glad you like my work and looked at the older pieces too. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for your projects too, your dragon is really inspiring!
Hey guys, here’s my Unreal Nali. Time for a third game.
Rendered in ZBrush with BPR filters, no Photoshop for color correction or compositing, except for my sig.
Tweaking the materials and lightcap may take a little longer than postproduction in another software, for a single image.
But if you want to have many perspectives of a character that looks consistent from every angle, a BPR setup is a great way to achieve those quickly.
Hope you like it!
wow, i really like this charactor. his anatomy is cool and the detail is good too, the tattoos really give it a nice touch the hands on your character has alot of gesture… Great peice of work. i cant wait to see more from you…
adam
Very cool and a good anatomy. I love it !
Cheers,
TM
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!
I made alphas for the tattoos, drew them on as masks, inverted the mask.
Then I could easily fill them with different colors, to see what looks good.
Thought I’d show some other tribal/team colors.
(edit: 3 are more than enough

The last two chars are great! Very beliveable and their anatomy is a pleasure to look at
Great sculpt. great anatomy. Love the last one. keep it up
Face has more detail in the skin then wrinkles on knee and so on. Only thing I can say on it. It is a great sculpt!!!
Thanks guys, highly appreciated!
Ken, daidda, I hear you, thanks! What can I say, with those studies I’m rather prolific than perfect right now, especially when it comes to detailling And I like a bit of contrast there too, atm…

Very nice and clean anatomy. And with a soul behind the pixels. I like it very much!
Cheers,
TM
well done on the anatomy
and the hair
creepy John Lennon troll guy
I wish I could achive your level someday! THe anatom is great - I like how the bottom curves of spine are bent backward!
The hair is perfect like always
How long it takes to sculpt something like that?
On the other siede I think the head proportions doesn’t feet body like this. For me the head looks like for a more 'standard
prportion body, like human.
Great characters, distorted but believable!
Tribun: Couldn’t have wished for a nicer statement, thanks so much!
A friend of mine sees my sculpts before I post them, and she just said:
“I like him. He KNOWS something.” Couldn’t say what, but that stuff (soul) is important to me.
Btw, you’ll get your skaarj, next year! Also plan to do some Tolkien chars (Silmarillion)…
BlackMath: Always love when someone sees real people in my sculpts, thanks!
I’ve started out learning anatomy with the “Structure of Man” series, a drawing course
by Riven Phoenix, then Ryan Kingslien vids
Nebular: Thanks a lot man, and trust me, you’ll do great things in zbrush if you keep to it!
The head used to be a lot bigger, so there’s some chance that it’s too realistic now…
As for time, it’s hard for me to say it in hours, because I’ll do other things.
I just like to take some days…
Santis: Yeah, thats what I’m going for these days, glad you like it! Thanks!
I’ve thrown together a little website with my work from this year.
It’s just a place where I dump a lot of rendered views, not a professional showcase.
The ZBrush stuff is under “Characters & Creatures”.
Studies I there is done, Studies II is in progress, the other categories I’ll fill in 2013.
Thanks again
I must say you’re a very creative!
Thanks buddy, 2012 was a kind of a creative, digital reboot for me, everything before doesn’t count
I’ll make a note here when I can show stuff in other “media” (mostly VUE and UDK) on my site
