After watching a bunch of tutorials and reading books about Zbrush I still have a hard time to get the idea of the Material System. i.e. If I have some variations of the same matcap on different subtools is there any way to find out wich one of the materials is colouring a specific subtool? Or do I have to remember wich one I used?
Can anybody guide me to a good tutorial about the Z material system. I don´t have a problem to buy it if it is a commercial tut or maybe a book.
You can select the material being used by your subtool by dragging the mouse from the material box onto your mesh
