Material seams??

[ATT=]Bull.jpg[/ATT] Hi guys , I was hoping you could help me with a problem. Imaking this bulls head, and I was applying different mats to it by masking and filling. Now I have seams where the different Mats meet. I cant color it out, cant smooth it out…anyone have any suggestions?

If I remember correctly you cannot have two different mat caps on the same sub tool.

If you are able to separate the teeth and the head you shouldn’t have an issue with using different mat caps but as it is you cannot apply different mat caps to the same model and have it all blend seamlessly together.

think u can have more then 1 matcap on a subtool, but the difference between both matcaps needs to be very minimal to not make seams. Painting different materials on the same mesh is very oldschool when subtools werent available yet, so as suggested above, it’s best to look into using subtools for teeth/horns/eyes/head in this case. And then Fill object with M enabled and the material selected on the different subtools.

after filling the whole head with the same Mat they went away. So I will do it as you two suggest!
