material problems....

Ok just discovered this issue with 3.5 .Loading up a doc created in 3.1 gives no texture on the model /pixols and the material that is loaded up ( a variant of skin4 ) doesn’t show up correctly.

Many of the material slots/setting were changed in 3.5. A 3.1 doc is not going to be directly compatible, or will have to be “repainted” with new mats.
