Material baking and shadows in zbrush 4

Essentially, Im switching over to zbrush 4 from zbrush 3 and having a little issue bakin textures.

I am sure theres some ways I dont know about to do the process, but im used to using ericyeo’s materialbaker v2 and well, its not working for zbrush 4.

Ive noticed I can get the effects I want through BPR but have yet to find a way to apply the renders to the texture after each pass.

Is there something I can do or a update to the plugin I can get to bake on materials / shadows ?

Ive been running through methods ive found but none were quite right.
Displacement map was too flat for what I need, and Ambient occlusion just couldnt capture the shadows / curves as well as Id hope.

I really enjoy working with zbrush 4 and all of the better material options and sss, but I cant find a way to create the nice material and shadow textures Im used to making with materialbaker. Ill keep attempting to solve the problem but any direction on which way to go would be much appreciated.
