I am getting a problem when I use matchmaker. I was messing around and wanted to make the squarish part sit on top of the mushroom, but for some reason every time I use matchmaker, the very edges of the object stay in the same position as start…
Am I doing something wrong? What should I do to prevent this issue?
The object need to be smaller than the target object. Re-size the 'squarish part " to not extend beyond the mushroom boundary.
Thank You!
Mmm… well I can think of two reasons why this would happen… first, masks. Make sure your model is not masked. This happened to me a couple of time.
Second… If your square model is lightly larger than the mushroom then the parts that are larger will not move. That is, in your camera projection, if those tiny borders of the square are slightly outside the outside edge of the mushroom… then you will likely have this problem.
Try scaling down the square just a bit, and use matchmaker again. This is, I think, is the more likely reason.
Hope this helps.
