I have used a set of MatCaps by Ralph Stumpf that I purchased via Gnomonology a long time ago. Since I have been using Z4R2 I have noticed that they seem to appear much harsher in the viewport that they did in previous versions (Z3.5 - Z4). Specifically the highlights are much more pronounced, especially around the edges of the model. I know that the material and lighting system have undergone some major changes in the most recent update. However I do have some MatCaps that still show as expected. Just wanted to check in here to see if this is a known thing or if there is a recommended tweak to bring older MatCaps up to speed in ZB4R2.
I am posting some images and I know they look very similar, but the edge of the Rhino (test image) has this blocky harsh rim-light thing happening. It is def. worse in the viewport. Thanks in advance,
