Massive slowdown+glitching when sculpting...hasn't happened before

Hello,

I’m having a problem trying to sculpt my mesh, this slowdown never occured until recently, I am unable to diagnose the problem

The mesh I’ve been working on has ~1.5million points. This hasn’t happened on the same mesh earlier (I think the issue happened prior to projecting details, or having baked layer…also to test.

I also tested painting on an object with several million polys.

I’m not sure if this is a zbrush software bug, reinstall may not fix the issue…

Here’s some issues I was having:

This message would appear every time I - 1.) selected this subtool, 2.) painted on the subtool:

I noticed, that when I activated display polygroups, I would get graphical errors when transforming/rotating/zooming the canvas:

I hope you can identifiy this issue, thank you so much

I did a combination of Dynameshes and Zremeshes to get the model back to normal, now running smooth even at > 1 million points

There was a glitch, where when I pressed the mesh to hide “Ctrl+Shift+Click” the polycount density would “appear to double” on the screen, even as the polymeter stayed consistent - As if a duplicate of the mesh was hidden inside it…
