I’d like to be able to mask an object with a texture, without disturbing the polypainting. Here is the simplest scenario:
- import a poly plane .obj (4 verts, previously exported from zbrush with correct uv layout )
- subdivide the plane
- import a texture for masking
- hit mask by intensity
- crash
If I drop the texture to polypaint, mask by intensity does not crash, but then I lose any polypainting, which defeats the purpose. I need to be able to re-use masks as I work. Am I missing something obvious?
