If this has been discussed elsewhere, I apologize, I wouldn’t know where to look. I’m having a strange masking problem. After hiding a portion of geometry in order to detail some hard to see bits, ZBrush seems to be insistent on creating masks right where the geometry was previously hidden.
No amount of clearing mask, or erasing solves this. It always comes back.
On the Left is where I started to paint the mask. The narrow strip appeared on its own. Middle picture, I finished hand painting the mask, erasing some of the strip. On the right I’ve inverted the mask only to find the anomaly in the area of the hidden geometry.
