I am working with zbrush 4R4. I have diferent polygroups for the fiber mesh. Now, I am masking a group of fibers because I don´t want them to affected by the brush while I am working on other fibers, But, despite been masked, they are affected a little bit by the brushes.

You must have missed the update? 4R6 is out. Fiber roots should be masked by default.
