Mask to polygroups

Hello guys, I got a question.

Is there a way to convert a mask to a polygroup? I made a mask and I want to extract it, but then want to delete the part of the mesh that is now inside, but don’t know how to delete it without it being a polygroup and splitting it. Please help guys I’ve been trying to figure it out all day.
