Mask to alpha zbrush 4r4 not working

i tried to make a mask to alpha and then this alpha to psd but when i open it or even when i see the “PREVIEW” of the alpha in zbrush, its just empty… why is this not working? could someone tell me how could i export the masked part of an object to edit it better in photoshop make a more accurated mask? thanks!

This is working for me, does your object have UV’s that are laid out nicely?

hmm i just added a primitive TORUS (ring) there, i painted the parts i wanted as MASKED, then do i need to do something more about the uv’s? is there a step i should’ve added? i just want to export that masked part as alpha.psd file and open it with photoshop, edit and put alpha to mask but nothing works in the first steps…i can make a video if you can help me better there.

waht u said about uv… how do i know about that? seeing the polyframe? or what d you mean?
