I have a mesh that has a closed mouth that needs to be opened, however every time I try to mask by topology, it crashes. I don’t get an error message or anything. Any thoughts or suggestions?
sadly i’ve had this happen too many times, usually though only if part of the mesh is hidden.
perhaps you could polygroup the inside of the mouth using the new visability grow/shrink feature and then mask the polygroup.
I actually figured it out for my model. I had the teeth still as part of that subtool. After they were separated it worked.
