This piece was created as a part of a Marvelous Designer tutorial I did for FlippedNormals.
it was super fun to get to play around with different fabrics and poses.
Feel free to check out the tutorial if you’re curious, or ask me if you have questions

The helmet was added mostly because I didn’t want to bother with hair, but ended up taking longer than hair would probably have taken.
As time went on it became more and more a piece of her as a character.
All the fabrics were done in Marvelous Designer, details and body were sculpted in ZBrush. The initial concept for the helmet was also done in ZBrush but finished in Maya.
Rendered with V-Ray and tweaked in photoshop
My finished beauty render with all the materials, mainly for presentation to have a completed piece ^^
I mostly used the standard brush for everything that was clothing. A little bit of smooth and and inflate to cleanup the mesh from Marvelous.
I tried to follow the existing folds in the fabric and created new ones based on what I saw in the surrounding folds. I wanted to art direct the folds a bit more than when they came out of Marvelous.
Here’s my complete pattern from Marvelous. the bulk of the costume is really in the windbreaker, but when you break it down it’s actually a very simple pattern for everything.
This is based off of a real wind breaker but I had to make up the pattern myself.
Just to see what it looks like posed inside marvelous without any sort of tweaks.
