Love the style and the color palette you chose for the alien. It has a very necrotic feel, I guess you could say. Taking it any further?
thanks. yes I like the colors too. but maybe the alien will be little tarker at the end.
I exported the alien model to 3ds max for rendering and material setup. I baked displacement maps in Zbrush. this is the first shader test for the alien. I used the fast Vray SSS2 shader. It´s a quick setup with only diffuse map in the sss slot. but I think it´s okay. critique is very welcome. tell me what you think.

i really like the alien one, i think you did a really good job on modeling and texturing as well, keep it up man
man you got that off sss2 in Vray? I got switch cuz mental ray isn’t cutting me slack. if it’s your first render I’d say take it further, take it all the way! and do one with high glossy reflections to make him look all shiny : ) the sculpt looks awesome

I´ve no idea how displacement works with maya. I use 3ds max. and for baking in ZBrush I turn on adaptive and smoothe UV. but it depends. I test this every time in max, before I export all displacement maps.
