Marmoset Toolbag 106 on MacOSX Mountain Lion

Hi there!

I finally managed to get Marmoset Toolbag running on MacOSX (Mountain Lion) as I did for Sculptris!!! First impression: It is running like a charme!! There is only an error message when quitting the tool but nothing critical. I used the special discount they offer now (50% off) to buy a second licence and as I said before it is running (for now).

So I will go on testing it (especially checking if the fingerprint changes on various startups) an I think I will contact Marmoset LLC to show it to them … maybe it will become a more or less “official” mac version. I’ll keep u up to date!

P.S.: As you have to register at the marmoset-page to download marmoset toolbag I cannot send anyone this Mac “test-build” so pls do not ask for. Only if Marmoset LLC will give it’s ok!

Now that is what I need.

I bought a license to run on Parallels $59 :). But I would really like to know how you got it to run on OSX. Great tool…
I run Lion 10.7.5 (reluctant to install Mt Lion as system is where I want it to be)…

Thanks for the info and please keep the thread updated. Think I heard talk of Marmoset being ported to OSX somewhere…

Hi there!

Search for Wineskin Winery (Tool to surround a Windows App with Wine) … with a little tweaking it should, but I’m not sure about the current version. Version 106 was running like a charme.
