After exporting a mesh from zbrush at the lower subdiv and giving it UVs in 3ds max, I reimported it to get this note: “Mismatch point-order in the imported mesh was detected and auto-corrected.” And when I try to generate a map, this happens:
(It should be smooth)
Even if I don’t touch the mesh in 3ds max, I can never get things from there to import properly–I even tried using the zbrush preset for my import/export options, but things still mess up. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?
Using Zbrush 4 and Max 2010.
