first of all i may sound a bit desperate for help, but ive taken this on as a university project not fully realising all of what can go wrong will go wrong when it has a deadline :p.
so ive made a character model on zbrush (3.5 r5, not 4 as i was experiencing problems). it has around 2 million polygons in zbrush and only has one extra subtool which are eyes.
i created the entire model in zbrush from Zspheres. it has never left the program. it is poly painted and i attacked it viciously with scale alphas.
(this is a low res image of the model with both subtools.
but my massive issue that i havent found a work around for is that i cant seem to export any maps of it, normals, displacements textures etc.
because every and i mean EVERY time i do, instead of exporting like a correct map, it comes out as a grey square, with what looks like a map in a small square in the corner of it. as if its taken a map of a single face or something mad :s
and it does it every time, small deformed map in corner of large gray square, aside from when i export a UV map sometimes it looks like static on a tv.
i took a picture of the wierd map bellow.
but i really need help with this im going absolutely mad.
