Mannequin to Adaptive skin

Hi

If I load the std project, skinning works fine. If I try skinning the same mannequin in my modified project (image plane, mannequin posed), the skinning works as tho Classic Skinning is turned on which gives you the skin looking exactly like the mannequin. It’s as tho even if I turn it off it’s still on.

I’ve tested this with the standard project and everything works fine. It’s just in this project that it doesn’t give me the proper adaptive skin. I’ve even recreated the project, thinking maybe the image plane or something had an effect but a new project works fine. Can start from scratch but would prefer not to and also would like to know what’s causing this.

Any ideas?

i got around all issues by using marcus civus’ meshinsert script and inserting simple 8 pt polysquare into the zsphere as both main spheres and connector pieces. Then used adaptive skin non classic… 1 sub div… i ended up with something that should work for a starting point for me for a full body model im working on.
