Mannequin Remesh - zSpheres smooth or flattens to much

I’m testing using mannequin as alternative to build start-mesh - I get very nice results with the mannequin - laying down the dimensions - but when I re-mesh I loose a lot of definition on zSpheres - they flatten too much - am I doing something wrong - should I add more zSpheres??

Are you using Project All to transfer the mannequin form to the mesh? You may need to experiment with the Projection Shell distance.

Project all gave a funny result - the mesh cam out spiky - I played around with diff. setting for a few hours - tried to get a feeling for what worked - Workflow I followed that gave the best result was
preview zSphere(mannequin) with classic skinning & density 1 -> then in Subtool I just hit remesh all with Res = 304, polish 10

It sounds as though you didn’t have the mannequin in preview mode. See here:
