I have been learning about panel loops the spaceship and the tire i exported them as objs to Rhino. When I render them there appear to be a lot of (bad surfaces) or open surfaces but when i check the volume of the obj it gives me one does that mean the object will grow even though i can see inside it after a render
Thanks in advance Eric
what?
I think he means ‘grow’ in the Rapid Proto Typing way. ie 3D print. OH, and I don’t know the answer, as I don’t understand panel loops.
If you are talking about 3D printing, no, it won’t print if it has non-manifold errors.
what is a non manifold error and what can be done to fix that
if the objects i make in zbrush cant be growable then the software is pointless to me which would be to bad .
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Eric
Zbrush is ideal for 3D printing, as long as you make the stuff right. Go to Zclassroom and look at the 3D printing tutorials. Non-manifold error means that it’s not watertight I guess. Easily fixed. Look at the tutorial, and then you’ll be sorted.
